It's 2am on a Wednesday...Thursday?

Why aren't I sleeping? Because I'm literally doing everything else that I shouldn't be doing, but keep convincing myself that I'll get around to my priorities. But I'm still being productive so....I should still be rewarded with ice cream.... that sounds about right. haha!

Last week the Mango team had our interview with Kat Iniba! It was so warming to hear Mina and Chris talk about their experience during Mango Sticky Rice. I don't know how many times I can say this until I sound ridiculous or pretentious but, I just feel really lucky to have had the opportunity to work with everyone on Mango Sticky Rice. Honestly. It just gives me lots of joy when people are excited for me and excited about its momentum. And it makes me even happier when I see my Mango Family. There's just so much love and respect for all of them, and I'm happy that they are growing from the experience we had together as a team.

The next day, I took a spontaneous/dream provoking trip to Portland to help my best friends/brothers from another mother with their proof of concept for their feature film. I literally had a dream that I was supposed to be flying somewhere and then thought...I think I need to go to Portland. Everything just worked out and I went out there to help! At first we decided I'd be Art Department and Wardrobe, but then they needed an AD so I stepped in. It was such an incredible experience. The people I met there were the kindest and most generous people I've ever met. They worked so hard and were so accommodating. I did not want to leave. Partly also because we were in the woods and it was GORGEOUS. The air smelled amazing, it was raining, I was surrounded by nature. It was awesome. I'm glad I could be a part of their passion project and support them!

I'm now producing my friend's thesis that will shoot in June. Crazy to think it's in two months. Even crazier to think I'm graduating in one month. Even more crazy to think that First Look Film Festival is next week! Excited!!!!
